Born and raised in Jersey, Kevin Pamplin is a Father, Son, Brother and Grandson. Schooled at Janvrin Primary school and D'Hautree, Kevin followed his passion of his early years of performing at home and around the world.
This led him to his education at the Mountview Academy of Performing Arts, where he graduated with his degree in 2000. Not soon after, Kevin returned home to take a job with ITV Channel.
He continued his passion for the theatre with producing and teaching roles. After returning to London for another time, Kevin returned to Jersey this time with his greatest achievement to date; fathering his two young children.
After a return to media with the BBC, Kevin took a step in a new direction, answering the call to work for the Jersey Brain Tumour Charity as its Business Manager. It was here that Kevin first met and saw the issues everyday folk are faced with when given a diagnosis as life changing as a brain tumour.
Kevin continued to support other local causes including the Variety Club of Jersey and C. I. Pride, among others. After overseeing a successful brain tumour conference, taking on the issues faced in that sector, Kevin had to take some time out for a non-life-threatening illness.
On his recovery, Kevin took on his next challenge within the charity sector, working with Headway Jersey in its 20th year.
Overseeing a very special year for the charity, Kevin again worked with the team to try to overcome the issues being faced, while also raising the profile of Headway's work. During this time, Kevin was on the Jersey Charity Awards Committee, which oversaw the 2017 awards at Government House.
A proud family man, Kevin takes most pride in the raising of his two children, Beatrice (10) and Jack (17), and their latest addition to the family, Rosie the Guinea Pig.
Family though extends further, and until she sadly passed away in January 2017, Kevin lived with and cared for his grandmother, Barbara Pamplin (Nee Queree).
Kevin also supports his father with his Jersey Royals business, and other small local companies with social media and communication support. Proud of his roots,
Kevin likes to take part in many challenges, such as the Island Walk, as well as taking time out watching local sports and his football team, Spurs & the New York Jets of the NFL. In his spare time Kevin is learning to play the Guitar, mastering meditation, involved with local theatre and performing when he can.
Always approachable and ready to work hard, Kevin is ready to take the same values and lessons he has learned from his life to make a positive impact for yours. Elected Deputy of St Saviour No. 1 in May 2018.
